A bucket list is a To DO list – specifically things you want to do before you die. Seeing the words written down is a great way to challenge ourselves to Live Life to the Fullest… What are your dreams and goals? What are things you want to accomplish? Are there places you want to go and see? On your death bed, what is the 1 thing you wish you had done?!
This list started as a graduation project in High School – everyone in my English class was told to write a list of 10 items they wanted to do within the next 5 years. (At the time, we referred to them as a Life List, but it’s now commonly referred to as a Bucket List because of the 2007 movie with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman).
Though high school was ages ago, I still continue to add to that list. There are actually a few items that I never would have thought of, but in that moment, I knew it had to be added to the bucket list just to mark it completed.
I hope my bucket list inspires you to create your own. Now get out there and live your life to the fullest. What’s on your bucket list?
