A limerick . . . because I am in Limerick, Ireland. 🙂
There once was a girl of the world.
Photography is what she adored.
So with camera in hand
Travels to distant land,
Leaving nowhere unexplored.
I spent the day exploring Limerick Ireland, walking in a grid-like pattern seeking art and graffiti. I stumbled upon a tagged car in an alley – WARNING! Do not park too long or your car will be camouflaged :-)! Just, kidding, but the tagged car did make for a good photographic subject. The row of faux houses were also delightful.
My favorite photographs of the day here in Limerick are the tattered heart with a cathedral in the distance and the boys fishing in the sky.
The power of the world is in the palm of your hands.
This girl is Boss.
I found this one tucked into an alley. I am not sure what’s on the shoulders, but I liked the shadow going across her face.
I can not read the words, but I like the flower in the hair and the pearls on this day of the dead graffiti.I like the ease of this fly fishing graffiti.
I found a duo of people throughout the city.
Duo take two.
This is one of faux houses that I found to be so delightful! The cat and fish bowl are well done!
This is another one of the cute faux houses. I like the real weeds leading up the door with the grandma welcoming you.
And this guy with the pink mustache was adorable. I really like the use of the door panels for glasses.
This was the tagged car in the alley of graffiti.
I really liked this heart. I actually didn’t notice the white door that is in it until after I took the photograph.
This photograph is just a small section of the huge colorful graffiti mural painted on the side of an old rock building.
