While at a photography seminar this week the speaker challenged everyone in the room to write a handwritten letter – (because it’s just something people don’t do anymore). So late last night creativity ensued and, in a sincere and funny way, a letter was penned to the girl who purchase our old iPhone on Swappa.
After carefully wrapping the phone in way too much paper and tucking it inside a shoe-box, the phone was shipped off with a letter FROM her new iPhone.
I am not a new pair of shoes. I am your new iPhone, the one buried under all the paper. Nice to meet you. 🙂
My previous owner sent me along with a few accessories. I was told to mention the new case looks a little blurry, but that’s only until you remove the protective plastic film on both sides – then I’ll be able to see clearly.
I am looking forward to our upcoming trip together, because I’m actually quite the world traveler myself . . .
- I’ve cruised the Vegas strip,
- Explored history in Savannah and Charleston,
- Partied on Bourbon St. in New Orleans,
- Barhopped in Asheville,
- Yelped food trucks in Austin, TX,
- Sampled Cuban flair in Tampa and Miami
- And enjoyed fine dining at Gordon Ramsay’s.
Between us, I am still embarrassed about how long I waited in line for a selfie in front of the Welcome to Vegas sign. But my biggest regret (after a long plane and train ride) is I fell asleep and missed witnessing The Northern Lights in Norway.
I’ve traveled by land, sea, and air. – Oh the joys of life! From spontaneous road trips, to flying high in a helicopter over Grand Cayman, to sailing around the Caribbean – I’ve done so much, but . . . I know the best is yet to come !!
Your New iPhone
P.S. Despite my adventurous spirit I have nightmares about being dropped in water. My bestfriend (my owner’s wife’s phone) was dropped in a Lagoon in Iceland and was never heard from again . . . I still miss her 🙁
P.S.S. I’m already talking too much and we just met. I’ll let Siri take it from here.
