Studio strobes aimed and set bright,
Skin powdered translucent white,
Lips and fingernails painted blue,
Blue hair and blue eyelashes too,
Bright blue eyes
And blue butterflies,
A blue mask with wispy blue feathers,
Just Blue Together.
Portrait Photography Magazine Photoshoot: These are photos from a recent magazine photoshoot – they asked me to turn the camera on myself. The make-up team arrived early in the morning – they airbrushed my skin white, painted my lips and nails blue, and glued on blue eyelashes. When the team finished they left and I was alone with the camera. So strange to be on both sides of the camera. I pulled out the container of photoshoot props (usually for my clients) and found the wig and the mardi gras mask – I had fun trying to stick to the BLUE theme.
