

Your photos can help or hurt your business. Before you use any images for your business, whether it’s for your website, social media, marketing materials, etc, you should give each photo a quick glance to decide whether or not you should even use it.
Here is a quick photo checklist to use BEFORE posting any image. You’ll only need to look at the checklist a few times because it will soon become 2nd nature.
Look at your photos honestly. Bad photos make you look like an amateur. If your photos don’t connect with and engage your target audience, they will just bounce. Remember: on the internet people don’t have to make excuses to walk away and choose someone else.
Quick Photo Checklist BEFORE Posting Any Image:
- Purpose?
- What does the photo actually say?
- Body language? Facial Expressions?
- Distractions?
- On message / cohesive with brand?
- Will it connect with target audience?
- Attention grabbing? or Bounce away?
- Desktop and phone version good?
- SEO - named and tagged?
